Atmospherex contracted 24fps Productions to shoot two club events - The New Year's Eve celebration at Ark in Tribeca, and a dance party on the Paddlewheel Princess launched off of lower Manhattan.
The shoots included interviews with top electronic music dj's, behind-the-scenes of the dj culture, and lots of dance floor action.
The resulting footage was showcased in the "Underground NYC" DVD released by Atmospherex.The DVD features an inside look at the underground world of dance culture in NYC. It focuses on the music, parties, after-parties, friends, and fans involved in the ever-evolving electronic music scene in New York City - all set to the vibe and sound of Gaby Dershin and James Bem, the dj team known as Astro&Glyde.
