The last few months have been quite busy for us, with the development
of several high-definition programming concepts across many genres.
This update details one of those programs, as well as our nomination
for the VisionFest 2004 film festival, our upcoming speaking engagements,

High Definition Documentary
|
Our HD documentary about the sport of Freediving,
“On a Single Breath,” has been nominated
as an Official Selection for the VisionFest
2004 Film Festival to be held June 23–27,
2004 at the Cantor Film Center, 36 East Eighth
Street, New York City.
If you’re in the city during that time,
please try to make the screening, which will
show during Program 2 of the festival on Thursday,
June 24, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. You can visit the

On a Single Breath follows
Annabel Briseno, a
52-year old grandmother, on her weeklong quest
to break world records in four free diving disciplines.

We’re
tentatively scheduled to be speaking at two sessions during
the DV Expo East Conference here in New York City being
held from July 13 – 16, 2004 at the Jacob Javits
Convention Center. The two sessions are:
“Marketing Your Video Business," Thursday,
July 15 from
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
and
“FreeDiving in HD,” Friday, July 16th from 1:30 – 2:30
p.m.

24fps Productions has been moving
forward with the development of our high-definition
travel show – a program that will be unlike any
other.
We are currently looking for individuals

Casting for the series is well underway,
thanks to our friends up the street at ReelACT
Casting. They put together an impressive and helpful
casting solution for us, which included online video

We are also working on a variety of other high-definition
projects in the lifestyle, sports, fitness, documentary,
and arts genres.

FreeFlight,
our HD documentary on the sport of paragliding and ultralights,
is currently featured in an article we wrote for the
June 2004 issue of DV magazine (volume 12, number 6).
The article describes the production of the documentary
from initial development through post production, and
details many of the challenges in-between. If you don’t

FreeFlight explores the sport of paragliders
